The day the world stopped. Come From Away is based on the true story of the time when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, played host to the world.
This uplifting, heart-expanding musical celebrates generosity, unity and the astonishing kindness of strangers. A joyful, profoundly human modern classic, it won the Olivier Award for Best New Musical and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical, and earned seven Tony nominations including Best Musical, Best Book and Best Score.

Your visit to the Golden Bough
- Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 PM; Sunday matinees begin at 2:00 PM. Seating opens 30 minutes before the show.
- Parking is on the street only, so arrive early. We recommend Monte Verde, Casanova, 8th and 9th.
- Concessions are on sale, and you're welcome to enjoy them in the auditorium.
- Service animals are welcome.
- There are no refunds once tickets are purchased. Tickets may be exchanged for another performance (subject to availability) by contacting the Box Office at least 24 hours before the original performance. Except for FlexPAC holders, exchanges cost $3.00 per ticket.
Directions
From Highway 1: take the Ocean Avenue exit and drive down Ocean Avenue through downtown Carmel. Turn left on Monte Verde Street (the 7th stop sign from the highway) and continue 3 blocks. The Golden Bough Playhouse is on the west side of Monte Verde Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues.
