Medea

This production has closed

Stronger than lovers' love is lovers' hate.

Raw, haunting and fiercely human, Medea remains one of the most powerful tragedies ever written. When Jason betrays her for a new bride and a crown, Medea (exiled, silenced and pushed beyond the limits of endurance) summons a vengeance that will shake Corinth to its core. Euripides' timeless masterpiece confronts the extremes of love, rage, justice and betrayal with unflinching intensity.

This production brought the ancient story to life in the intimate Circle Theatre with bold theatricality and emotional depth.
