Real estate gift
Without the support of our generous circle of givers, PacRep could not withstand the "whips and scorns of time."

Three ways to give real estate
- A current gift or bequest
A life income agreementA gift with retained life use
When to consider one
- You own property you no longer need, that is expensive to maintain or unproductive, such as a vacation home, farm or land.
- You own highly appreciated property that would generate a large capital gain if sold.
- You own a rental or commercial property that has become a management problem or is not earning enough.
- You are thinking of selling your home and moving to a smaller home or retirement facility.
- You would like lifetime income from your property.
Advantages of a current gift
- Possible avoidance of capital gains tax on highly appreciated property
- An immediate income tax deduction
- Possibly reduced future estate taxes
- No more management concerns or property taxes
- Substantial current support for a cause that is important to you
- Membership in the Encore Circle, the community of PacRep supporters who have made similar provisions in their estates.
Advantages of a retained life use gift
- You can remain in your house as long as you and your spouse are alive (you continue to pay taxes and upkeep).
- Possible avoidance of capital gains tax
- An immediate income tax deduction
- Possibly reduced estate taxes
- Membership in the Encore Circle, the community of PacRep supporters who have made similar provisions in their estates.
How do I make one?
A current gift can be made by transferring title to PacRep. A bequest, life income agreement or retained life use requires an attorney knowledgeable in estate planning; we can help you find one.
